Emma X Zhang
Solo Exhibition

This multidisciplinary exhibition transforms natural phenomena into installations, using multichannel projection, LED technologies, and material processing to translate collected observations into works that move across scales, from microscopic ecologies to the digital systems that reframe them.

Drawn from fieldwork in the Himalayas and Blue Mountains; close-up and landscape; personal encounters and scientific archives; her practice transforms what might otherwise be forgotten into visual abstractions that reveal unfamiliarity and a new way of seeing.

Through synthetic means, and creative collaboration, the resulting installations occupy a realm between the physical world and its digital aftermath, inviting sustained attention within constructed atmospheres of light and residue
