Abbortford Convent
a series of wood panel works that blend playgrounds, landscapes, and corrupted abstraction through the technique of heat sublimation. Moisture, heat, and colour fumes reshape and distort the images, stirring a sense of nostalgia.
These artworks invite viewers to explore their own interpretations and emotions, hinting at a distant memory of a world that may never have truly existed. The work “Mystic Sips: Realms Unveiled” was born through an alchemical fusion, like chemicals interacting with aging film, into a hazy realm—a puzzle of memories or a hidden dimension of the world beyond.
